Producer SKN Clarifies Comments on Telugu Heroines
Blockbuster producer SKN has addressed the misinterpretation of his recent remarks about Telugu heroines at the Return of the Dragon pre-release event. He emphasized that his comments were made in a lighthearted manner but are now being misrepresented by certain websites and YouTube channels.
Setting the record straight, SKN highlighted his consistent efforts to promote Telugu talent in the film industry. "Some platforms are falsely claiming that I do not support Telugu girls or that I have faced issues working with them. This is completely untrue. I have introduced eight Telugu actresses as heroines and worked with twelve so far," he clarified.
SKN went on to list the actresses he has launched, including Rashmi and Anandi (Ee Rojullo), Manasa (Romance), Priyanka Jawalkar (Taxiwala), Vaishnavi Chaitanya (Baby), Harika (Santosh Shobhan’s upcoming film), Aishwarya (upcoming film), and Kushita (3 Roses). He also stressed his commitment to creating more opportunities for Telugu talent, not just in acting but across various crafts such as direction, executive production, and art direction.
I have set a goal to introduce 25 Telugu girls across all departments in the industry, and I am determined to achieve it. In the films I produce, Telugu girls will always be my first priority," he reaffirmed.
