Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan unveiled the Hindi trailer of Thandel at a grand event in Mumbai. The highly anticipated film, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vas under the Geetha Arts banner, with Allu Aravind presenting it.

During the event, Aamir Khan expressed his admiration for the film’s trailer, calling it "fantastic" and praising Naga Chaitanya’s performance. He also mentioned that his son’s film is releasing on the same day as Thandel but emphasized that great stories always find their audience. He highlighted the emotional depth of the film and particularly appreciated Devi Sri Prasad’s music, calling the song “Dinka Chika” his favorite.

Naga Chaitanya, visibly moved by Aamir Khan’s support, called Thandel a "magical opportunity." He recalled how Aamir had previously praised his film Love Story and expressed gratitude for his encouragement. The actor underwent a year-and-a-half-long transformation for his role as a fisherman, describing the story as a rare and challenging opportunity that deeply impacted him.

Producer Allu Aravind revealed that Thandel is based on real-life events about fishermen from the Vizag coast who unknowingly crossed the border and ended up imprisoned in Pakistan. He praised Chaitanya’s dedication to the role, stating that his career would be marked as “before and after Thandel.”

Director Chandoo Mondeti expressed his excitement at sharing the stage with Aamir Khan and even jokingly mentioned his dream of working as an assistant under him for six months before pitching him a story. He described Thandel as an emotional love story, focusing on the struggles of its lead character in Karachi. Sai Pallavi’s performance was also highly praised, with both the director and producer acknowledging her brilliance.

Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad, the film’s music composer, shared his enthusiasm about Aamir Khan’s support. He thanked the Mumbai audience for always giving a great response to his music and praised Naga Chaitanya’s transformation, calling it "beast mode." He also lauded the chemistry between Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, promising that their performances would leave a lasting impact.

The entire team expressed their gratitude to Aamir Khan for his kindness and encouragement. With strong emotional storytelling, powerful performances, and soul-stirring music, Thandel is set for a grand worldwide release on February 7, and expectations are sky-high.
