Director Shankar Reveals Why He Chose Ram Charan for 'Game Changer'

Global superstar Ram Charan is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated film Game Changer, directed by S. Shankar. The excitement surrounding the project is palpable, with Shankar praising Charan's exceptional talent as an actor. He emphasized that Charan's decision to take on this role was made even before the release of his blockbuster RRR.

"Ram Charan decided to be a part of this film even before RRR was released. Dil Raju suggested that having Ram Charan would be a great choice, and I agreed. Many of my stories revolve around universal themes that suit any leading hero, making it a perfect fit for someone of his stature. We had a wonderful journey together in this film," Shankar explained.

Shankar further highlighted Charan's acting skills, stating, "When you watch him, it feels as though he is controlling an inner power that can erupt when needed. He is an artist capable of delivering profound performances, and he possesses an impressive screen presence. Regardless of the scene, he handles every moment beautifully."

In Game Changer, Ram Charan plays the role of an IAS officer determined to eradicate corruption from the political landscape. The film's teaser has already captivated audiences with glimpses of Charan in various looks, showcasing high-octane action sequences intertwined with political intrigue. The cast also includes Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Samuthirakani, Anjali, Naveen Chandra, Sunil, and Srikanth.

Currently, the film's songs, including "Jaragandi," "Raa Macha Macha," and "Jaana Hairaan Sa," are climbing the charts, with the next track, "Dhop," set to be released on December 22.

With Thaman providing the electrifying music and S. Thirunavukkarasu handling cinematography, this Shankar-directed film is poised to be a box office sensation. Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Creations and Zee Studios, Game Changer is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on January 10, 2025, in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
