'Bedurulanka 2012': 'Dongode Doragadu' strikes with a meaningful message

The Mani Sharma composition from Kartikeya's movie is a must-listen

Hero Kartikeya's hilarious entertainer 'Bedurulanka 2012' is going to be released in theatres on August 25. Produced by Loukya Entertainments as both a content-oriented drama and an entertainer, the film stars Neha Shetty of 'DJ Tillu' fame as the heroine. Directed by debutant Clax, the film is produced by Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni.

A song titled 'Dongode Doragadu' from the movie was released today. While the tone of the song is entertaining, the intention is to convey a strong message against manipulative people who exploit the gullible in the name of faith. "How the naivete and innocuous beliefs of the people of a village are sought to be exploited for selfish purposes by quacks is what this song highlights," says director Clax, giving an insight into the premise of the story-driven song.

Sung by Sahithi Chaganti and written by Kittu Vissapragada, the song features the main cast members of the dramedy.

Recently, two songs ('Vennello Aadapilla' and 'Solluda Siva') were released. The three songs released thus far belong to three different and distinctive genres, proving the content-driven nature of 'Bedurulanka 2012'.

The film recently closed lucrative theatrical deals. The promotional activities have begun in earnest. The core team of the dramedy are gung-ho!
