The event is going to take place on March 7,8,9 and the venue is Sri Bondada Venkataraju Gupta open air theatre at Palakollu. This is also the venue for the 8th National Level Drama Festival.
The felicitation to Dr Mangalampalli would take place on 7th evening at 6 pm and the legend would be presented with the ‘Swarna Kankanam’ by AP Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Sivaprasad.
Prior to that, Dr Balamuralikrishna would be taken around the streets of Palakollu on a musical chariot and Dr Ghazal Srinivas revealed that the program is being attended by many noted theatre artists, politicians and celebrities from both states. The organizers mentioned that Dr Balamuralikrishna would be heading to his native place Sankaraguptam in east Godavari district after the program.
Saying about the Drama Festival, the organizers revealed that a total of 8 dramas have been selected and each drama would be presented with a cash prize of Rs 10000, a memento and an appreciation letter.
