Indywood Film Carnival Media Award: Entries invited 
Media Award is an attempt to encourage film journalism

Kerala (07.11.2017): Indywood Film Carnival, one of the largest film based events in the world, will honour scribes for reporting the carnival well. The categories are national and regional (Print-Electronic), Radio, Magazine, Online, News agency, Photographer and Cameraman. The award comprises of a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize. 

Indywood Film Carnival will be held at Hyderabad-based Ramoji Film City, the largest film studio in the world, from December 1 to 4. 

Interested candidates can register through www.ifm.co.in/mediadelegate. The reports and videos should be mailed to pr@indywood.co.in before 5 pm on 3rd December. Jury committee spearheaded by leading experts in film and media industries will review the works. The awards will be distributed at the concluding day of the carnival. Key objective - Growth of film industry

The main objective of 10 billion US dollar Project Indywood is to elevate Indian Film Industry to the global standards. Indywood is being supported by a consortium promoted by 2000 Indian billionaires and corporates. 

Indywood Founder Director Sohan Roy emphasized that innovative making style and distribution methods should be embraced to attract global audience. "Use advanced cameras, studios, projectors, sound equipment, multiplexes, globally appealing stories, wide distribution network etc. Upgrading technology according to times is the need of the hour and it will help to save lot of time and money,” he said.  

Encouragement for journalists
With a mission to honour prominent journalists in the country Indywood has constituted Indywood Media Excellence Awards. Indywood has already honoured journalists from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Goa, Chennai, Kerala and Hyderabad. 

Indywood Film Carnival Media Awards is a new initiative meant to promote film journalism. Indywood will also honour individuals and organizations for their valuable contributions in the field of Education, Music, Health, IT, Hospitality, Maritime, Build in India, Interiors and Architecture. National Indywood Media Excellence Awards will also be distributed on the occasion.

"Indywood plans to attract investors and entrepreneurs to Indian Film Industry by presenting the immense business opportunities in entertainment sector," said Sohan Roy who is also the Chairman and CEO of the UAE-based Aries Group. 

Indywood Film Carnival is expected to draw 300 exhibitors, 5000 trade delegates, 500 plus potential investors, 2500 plus Indywood Talent Hunt finalists and over 300 international deal makers.
