Megastar Chiranjeevi, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, Director Bobby Kolli (KS Ravindra) Mega Mass Entertainer 'Waltair Veerayya' released on January 13 as a Sankranthi gift and became a huge success worldwide. 'Waltair Veerayya', produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers on a grand scale, entertained the audience from all walks of life and received megamass blockbuster success with record breaking collections. In this context, the success celebrations of the film unit 'Veerayya Vijaya Viharam' were held in a grand manner at Hanmakonda, Warangal. Mega Power Star Ram Charan was the special guest at the event. Veeraya Vijaya Viharam was attended by a large number of spectators and fans. In this ceremony, Megastar Chiranjeevi presented shields for the film unit.
Speaking at the event, Chiranjeevi said, "I know Waltair Veerayya would become a blockbuster but didn’t expect it to become non-SSR hit. Audience should get the credit for it. The movie is inching towards 250 Crore gross. I was shown in my vintage mode and audience are reminded of my old classics like Gharana Mogudu, Gang Leader, etc. I became a star with Khaidi in 1983 and Bobby became a star director with Waltair Veerayya in 2023. He worked day and night to make this happen. He made the movie on a reasonable budget and that is the first reason for success. Mythri Movie Makers are very passionate and uncompromising producers. Devi gave wonderful music. I saw Pawan Kalyan in Ravi Teja in the death episode. That’s how the emotion looked very real. I did the scene imagining the response of the audience in theaters. Mythri Movie Makers stand as the true definition of producers. Movie is love for them and they do not think of costs while doing. The visuals in this movie are Hollywood-level which is due to the production values of Mythri movie makers. DOP Arthur Wilson showed it beautifully. Devi gave Mass, Melody and Ooramass numbers. Ram Laxman, Peter Heins, Shekhar Master all did amazing. Shruti Haasan did a wonderful job. Also, Prakash Raj, Nasser, Sathyaraj, Kona Venkat, writer team, GK Mohan.. all other technicians have made this movie with love. Thanks to Minister Dayakar Rao who came to this ceremony. The movie released when I was in the US and I can not wait to come here and watch the film. Nanna is appearing like my brother in the movie. I came here as one of the fans. I enjoyed seeing Ravi Teja play a serious character. I felt it was not enough. Thus, I watched his Dhamaka on Netflix. Devi gave 3 fantastic songs and main reason for the film success. Director Bobby Kolli is on a cloudnine after the massive blockbuster. "Knowing Annayya's judgment, I already know Waltair Veerayya would be a big blockbuster. My father is a big fan of Chiranjeevi. Chiranjeevi was the reason why I was able to come to shooting immediately after my father's demise. I am indebted for the rest of my life to Chiranjeevi who told my father about the result of this film four months before and gave him the satisfaction that your son is going to be a big director. I loved this movie every moment and made this movie. It was an immense pride that Annayya fans are saying I have given their idol back in the Vintage form. Veeraya brought a lot of respect. All this was possible because of Annayya. I was fortunate to be the director of Waltair Veerayya. Without Ravi Teja, there is no Waltair Veerayya. That is true. Ravi Teja made this movie out of love for his Chiranjeevi. Thanks to Devi Sri Prasad. Mythri movie makers loved this movie a lot. Thank you to everyone who worked in this movie. They say blockbuster if they get 20 percent commission. If there is an overflow of more than 20 percent, what should this be?! An all time industry hit. Waltair Veerayya has been giving surprise results since 13th of this month by collecting beyond our expectations. I have never seen such a result. Calling Chiranjeevi at six in the morning every day since the release of the film and talking about the amazing result was a wonderful experience. Chiranjeevi once said that this movie will be as successful as 'Khaidi'. There was little doubt that it would really be such a big success. But really Waltair Veerayya got such a big success after Khaidi. Very happy. Thanks to Chiranjeevi, Bobby, Ravi Teja for giving us such success.
