Superstar Rajinikanth is back as Muthuvel Pandian, and the stakes just got significantly higher. The Telugu trailer for Jailer 2 is officially out, teasing an even wilder, larger-than-life spectacle driven by Rajinikanth’s effortless swagger and director Nelson Dilipkumar’s signature blend of dark humor and chaotic action.
The trailer sets up a massive new conflict, doubling down on the gritty, quirky underworld that made the first film a runaway hit. Alongside Rajinikanth, the sequel lines up a powerhouse ensemble cast, including S. J. Suryah, Vidya Balan, Shivarajkumar, Mohanlal, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Mirnaa.
Behind the scenes, the core technical team returns in full force. Anirudh Ravichander delivers the high-octane score, backed by Vijay Kartik Kannan’s cinematography and R. Nirmal’s editing. Produced by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures, the film's Telugu theatrical release across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be distributed by Sithara Entertainments.
Jailer 2 hits theaters worldwide on October 15.
