  Bharateeyudu 3: Senapathy’s Past Takes Centre Stage

After taking audiences through Senapathy’s fight against corruption, Kamal Haasan and director Shankar are now taking the story back in time with Bharateeyudu 3. The third part of the franchise will explore the past of the iconic character and reveal the events that shaped him into the fearless vigilante audiences know today.

A glimpse of Bharateeyudu 3, shown as part of Bharateeyudu 2, offered a first look at the film’s period setting. Set during the freedom struggle, the film features a younger Senapathy and focuses on the experiences that influenced his beliefs and sense of justice.

The glimpse also featured Kajal Aggarwal and S. J. Suryah in important roles. The period backdrop, action sequences and large-scale visuals have already raised expectations for the film.

Unlike the earlier chapters, Bharateeyudu 3 moves away from the present-day setting and explores Senapathy’s early years. The film is expected to show his journey as a freedom fighter and the struggles that eventually shaped his strong views on justice and corruption.

The film is currently in an important stage of production. Editing work is underway, while the remaining shoot is expected to begin in about 10 days. An official announcement regarding the release date is also expected soon.

Kamal Haasan returns as Senapathy, with Shankar directing the film. The story is by Shankar, while the screenplay has been written by Shankar, B. Jeyamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu and Lakshmi Saravana Kumar.

The film has a large ensemble cast, including S. J. Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Brahmanandam, Piyush Mishra and several other prominent actors.

Anirudh is composing the music, Ravi Varman is handling the cinematography and T. Muthuraj is the production designer.

Produced by Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner, the film is being backed by a team known for several major Indian productions. GKM Tamil Kumaran heads Lyca Productions, while Sundar Raj is the Executive Producer.

The film will be released as Indian 3 in Tamil, Hindustani 3 in Hindi and Bharateeyudu 3 in Telugu.

With the film now moving towards completion, audiences are waiting to see the story behind Senapathy’s transformation from a freedom fighter into the legendary vigilante. The upcoming release date announcement is expected to provide the next major update on the much-awaited sequel.
