Venkatesh and Trivikram’s ‘Aadarsha Kutumbam – AK47’ Postponed; New Release Date to Be Announced Soon
The highly anticipated family entertainer Aadarsha Kutumbam – House No. 47 (AK47), starring Victory Venkatesh and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, has been postponed from its scheduled worldwide theatrical release on October 9, 2026.
Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi officially confirmed the delay during a press meet, citing unfinished post-production work and tight promotional timelines.
"Even three or four days ago, we were confident about the October 9 release, which is why overseas bookings were opened," Naga Vamsi explained. "However, as of yesterday morning, we were not in a position to submit the final content for overseas censor clearances. We have fallen behind by three to four days in post-production."
Naga Vamsi emphasized that the makers opted against rushing the output to ensure the film reaches audiences with uncompromised quality. "Instead of rushing to meet the deadline, we felt it was better to postpone, thoroughly check every detail, and deliver the best possible experience. We also needed adequate time for promotional activities."
Addressing the fans, the producer promised a worthwhile wait. "Though it is arriving a little late, I assure you that Aadarsha Kutumbam will offer 100% satisfaction to Venkatesh Garu’s fans. We will finalize a new release date in two to three weeks after consulting with him."
Produced by S. Radha Krishna under the Haarika & Hassine Creations banner, the film features an ensemble cast including Srinidhi Shetty, Nara Rohith, Nivetha Pethuraj, Rao Ramesh, Sathya, Brahmaji, and Vennela Kishore. The project features music by Thaman S, whose first single, "Narayanamma," has already gained significant traction online.
The makers plan to launch a full-scale promotional campaign over the coming weeks, leading up to the release of the remaining tracks and the official theatrical trailer before confirming the new release date.
