Grand Mass Seemantham Ceremony Held for 2,000 Women in Jubilee Hills
A grand mass Seemantham (baby shower) and Annaprasana ceremony was organized for around 2,000 women and children at Mohammed Function Hall in Yousufguda, Jubilee Hills constituency.
The programme was conducted jointly by the Nava Yuva Nirman Foundation and the Congress Party as part of Nutrition Week celebrations, under the leadership of Jubilee Hills MLA Shri V. Naveen Yadav garu.
MLA Naveen Yadav personally took part in the Seemantham celebrations and presented sarees, turmeric and kumkum to the pregnant women as a gesture of affection from their parental home. He wished all the expectant mothers good health, happiness and prosperity.
The women appreciated the initiative and thanked Naveen Yadav for supporting families from economically weaker sections and treating them with the warmth and affection of a brother.
Annaprasana, marking a baby’s first intake of solid food, was also conducted on the occasion. Planning Commission Vice Chairman Gadwal Vijayalakshmi garu and MLA Naveen Yadav blessed the children and their families.
The event was attended by TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud garu, Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Seethakka and Azharuddin garu, Planning Commission Vice Chairman Gadwal Vijayalakshmi garu, Minority leader Faheem Qureshi garu, MP Anil Kumar Yadav garu, former MP Madhu Yash Goud garu, MLC Addanki Dayakar garu, MLAs Danam Nagender garu, Uttam Padmavathi Reddy garu, Chittam Parnika Reddy garu and Yashaswini Reddy garu, Telangana Social Media President Sama Ram Mohan Reddy garu, Gaddar Vennela garu, Kalva Sujatha garu, Kothakota Seetha Dayakar Reddy garu, Deepak John garu, Saritha Tirupathaiah garu, Chitrapuri Colony President Vallabhaneni Anil garu, along with several Congress leaders and other dignitaries.
The celebrations turned into a memorable occasion for thousands of women and children, reflecting the spirit of care, community and togetherness.
