  ‘Aasmaan’ Teaser: Manchu Manoj Praises Meghamsh Srihari, Says He Carries Real Star Srihari’s Legacy

Meghamsh Srihari’s upcoming mystery thriller ‘Aasmaan’ has created interest with its intriguing teaser, which was unveiled on the occasion of the actor’s birthday.

Sri Klin Kaara Celluloids’ Production No.1, ‘Aasmaan’, starring Meghamsh Srihari as the lead, has launched its official teaser. Directed by Ram Nandhan and produced by Kondaru Venkatesh and Srikanth Mannem, the film is billed as a fast-paced mystery thriller.

The teaser launch event was attended by Manchu Manoj, Shivatmika Rajashekhar and several members of the cast and crew.

Manchu Manoj, who shares a close bond with the Srihari family, praised Meghamsh after watching the teaser.

Meghamsh Srihari is the reflection of Real Star Srihari garu. I am confident that he will deliver a successful film and make his father proud,” Manoj said.

He also recalled his association with Real Star Srihari and said that Srihari’s name will always remain in the hearts of cinema lovers. Manoj appreciated the teaser’s cinematography, music and overall presentation.

 Meghamsh Plays a Recovery Agent

Speaking about the film, Meghamsh revealed that ‘Aasmaan’ is a pure mystery thriller. He plays a recovery agent in the movie.

“The mystery begins right from the start. The film moves at a very fast pace, and even if I reveal the story up to the interval, the audience will still not be able to guess what happens next,” Meghamsh said.

Although the teaser has a dark and intense atmosphere, Meghamsh clarified that the film does not have a horror angle.

“There is no horror in the film. It is a pure mystery thriller with a fresh concept,” he added.

 Seven-Year Gap After ‘Rajdooth’

Meghamsh also opened up about his long gap after his debut film ‘Rajdooth’.

He said the loss of his father, Real Star Srihari, changed his approach towards his career. He wanted to take time, mature as an actor and select projects carefully.

“I learned how to say no during this period. I listened to many scripts and realised that I should only do films that I genuinely believe in,” Meghamsh said.

He also admitted that carrying his father’s legacy is a major responsibility.

“There is definitely pressure. I want to protect my father’s name, so I am very careful about the films I choose,” he said.

Srihari’s Discipline Remains Meghamsh’s Biggest Lesson

Meghamsh said discipline was the biggest quality he learned from his father.

“Whatever time they call me, I should be there. However long they need me to work, I should work. As an artist, I learned almost everything from my father,” he said.

He also recalled one of Srihari’s memorable pieces of advice during the shooting of ‘Bhairava’.

“He told me to forget that there was a camera in front of me. I still follow that advice,” Meghamsh recalled.

When asked which of his father’s films he would like to remake, Meghamsh chose ‘Bhadrachalam’.

 ‘Aasmaan’ Gets an Arabic Release

One of the interesting aspects of ‘Aasmaan’ is its planned Arabic release.

Meghamsh said the team already has a connection with the Middle Eastern audience through the success of their earlier film ‘Samboosa Chapathi’.

Director Ram Nandhan also revealed that he previously worked on a film with Bahraini artist Ahmed, which was released across several Middle Eastern countries and reportedly collected around ₹35 crore.

That experience encouraged the team to take ‘Aasmaan’ to the Arabic-speaking audience as well.

Ram Nandhan revealed that he had wanted to work with Meghamsh for several years.

We met almost four years ago. I had the intention of working with him since then, and that eventually led to casting him in this film,” the director said.

He described Meghamsh as a combination of talent and dedication and praised his screen presence and action performance.

The makers are looking at ‘Aasmaan’ as a film that can reach audiences beyond Telugu-speaking states.

According to director Ram Nandhan, language should not be a barrier when the content connects with viewers.

The film also features Rayancha as the female lead, along with actors Ravi Varma, Kesav Deepak, Nikhil, Anji Mama, Rajasekhar and Kamal in important roles.

Cinematographer Shoaib has created a distinctive visual world for the film, while music director Prasanth Vihari has worked on a consistent soundscape to complement the mystery-thriller atmosphere.

Rayancha said she was attracted to both the story and her character and expressed happiness about sharing the screen with several experienced actors.

Shivatmika Rajashekhar, who has been friends with Meghamsh since school, also attended the event and praised the teaser, particularly the visuals and Meghamsh’s performance.

With its mystery-driven storyline, action elements, distinctive visuals and international release plans, ‘Aasmaan’ is gearing up to present Meghamsh Srihari in a new avatar.

More details about the story and characters are expected to be revealed with the upcoming trailer and pre-release promotions.
