Samantha's Maa Inti Bangaram has achieved a major milestone by crossing the ₹100 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The film has now become the first female-led Telugu movie to enter the prestigious ₹100 crore club, setting a new benchmark for women-centric cinema.
Just days after becoming the highest-grossing woman-led Telugu film, Maa Inti Bangaram continued its remarkable run by breaking several collection records. The film also emerged as the highest overseas grosser among female-led Telugu films, earning over $2.5 million, and is now ranked among the top highest-grossing solo female-led Indian films.
Released on June 19, 2026, the film opened simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil (as Engal Thangam). It was created by Raj K Nidimoru, directed by B. V. Nandini Reddy, and produced by Raj, Samantha, and Himank Reddy Duvuru under the Tralala Moving Pictures banner. The cast includes Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth Manchale, Gautami, Sreemukhi, and Anand in key roles.
The action-comedy family entertainer received an overwhelming response from audiences, especially women, who connected strongly with its emotional story, entertaining moments, and Samantha's powerful performance. The film's natural action sequences and light-hearted comedy also won praise from moviegoers.
Sharing her happiness, Samantha said that the ₹100 crore milestone is more than just a box office number and proves that audiences are ready to support strong stories led by women across languages.
Raj K Nidimoru thanked audiences for the immense love shown to his Telugu film and said he was deeply grateful for the way viewers embraced it.
Producer Himank Reddy Duvuru called the achievement a landmark moment for the industry, saying Maa Inti Bangaram would serve as an inspiration and case study for future women-led commercial films.
The film continues to enjoy a successful theatrical run in India and overseas, adding another memorable chapter to Samantha's career.
