Following a successful theatrical run, Raakaasa is now making waves globally on OTT. The film has entered the Netflix Global Top 10 Non-English Films chart at No. 7, recording an impressive 1.2 million views worldwide during its debut tracking week from April 27 to May 3, 2026.
The achievement reflects the strong audience support the film has enjoyed right from its theatrical release. What started as a family entertainer that steadily gained popularity in theatres has now expanded its reach to streaming audiences across the world.
During its theatrical run, Raakaasa became a favourite among family audiences, especially in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, thanks to its light-hearted humour and easy entertainment value. The same appeal is now driving strong viewership on Netflix as well.
