Rakasa Builds Strong Buzz Ahead of April 3 Release

 At the pre-release event of Rakasa, Niharika Konidela said the film is made to give audiences a fun and enjoyable experience that families can watch together and laugh.

Produced by Niharika Konidela along with Umesh Kumar Bansal under Pink Elephant Pictures and presented by Zee Studios, Rakasa is directed by Manasa Sharma. The film stars Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in lead roles and is set to release on April 3. A grand pre-release event was held ahead of its launch.

Niharika shared that the team focused heavily on promotions to reach a wider audience. She said the film has created good buzz from the beginning and offers clean comedy mixed with fantasy and adventure. Despite some challenges during production, the film was completed within budget. She also expressed happiness that even Ram Charan had heard about the film, which showed its reach.

Sangeeth Shobhan said Ram Charan appreciated the film, and he initially thought meeting him was a prank. He added that the movie is inspired by adventure films and aims purely to entertain. He immediately agreed to the project after hearing the story and said he shares a great comfort level with the team.

Director Manasa Sharma said Rakasa has a fresh and unique story that especially appeals to children. She added that the film blends folklore with modern storytelling and visuals, making it feel like a magical fairytale.

Nayan Sarika said working with Pink Elephant Pictures feels like home. She shared that meeting Ram Charan during promotions was emotional for her, and she believes the film will impress everyone.

Producer Manyam Ramesh said promoting a film is now harder than making it. He revealed that while the shoot lasted 55 days, promotions went on for 60 days. He also mentioned that all business deals were completed before release, showing strong confidence in the film.

Divya from Zee Studios said the story is impressive and expressed confidence that the film will be a big success in theaters.
