Story
Karasaami, played by Dhanush, is a small-time thief who wants to change his life after marrying Malli, played by Mamitha Baiju. Hoping for a fresh start, the couple moves to Renigunta and begins working at a roadside hotel. Even though they work hard, poverty and daily struggles continue to make life difficult for them.
Things take a turn when Karasaami visits his village and finds his father Kandhasaamy, played by K. S. Ravikumar, drowning in bank loans. Seeing farmers and poor families suffer pushes him into anger and frustration. Unable to watch their pain silently, Karasaami chooses a dangerous path and starts robbing banks to fight against the system. What follows is a gripping battle between him and the police, packed with emotional moments, clever robbery sequences, and intense suspense.
Performances
Dhanush once again proves why he is one of the strongest performers in Tamil cinema. He handles both the emotional and action-heavy scenes with ease, making Karasaami feel believable throughout the film.
