After the massive success of Gabbar Singh, Power Star Pawan Kalyan and director Harish Shankar have teamed up once again for Ustaad Bhagat Singh. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.
Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna play the female leads, while Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music and S. Thaman has provided the background score.
The songs, teaser, and trailer have already created a strong buzz, raising expectations among fans. The film is all set for a grand theatrical release on March 19, coinciding with Ugadi.
Before the release, the team interacted with the media at a pre-release press meet held on Wednesday.
Harish Shankar About the Film
Director Harish Shankar expressed his happiness about meeting the media after a long time and said this Ugadi will feel special with Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
He mentioned that it has been quite some time since audiences enjoyed a complete commercial entertainer from a big star. According to him, the film has everything songs, action, comedy, romance, and powerful moments.
He confidently said that after watching the movie, people will feel they finally got to see a full-fledged entertaining film again. He added that all the elements fans expect from Pawan Kalyan style, dialogues, dances, and humor are present in the film.
Harish also shared that the film was completed on time with proper planning, and credited Pawan Kalyan for his discipline despite his busy political schedule.
He thanked the producers for their constant support, stating they never compromised on the budget and always encouraged the team.
He also appreciated Thaman for delivering an impressive background score in a very short time.
Harish concluded by saying that audiences will definitely recommend the film to others and fans will want to watch it multiple times.
Producer Naveen Yerneni said it was a dream come true to work with Pawan Kalyan.
He revealed that the project was planned years ago but got delayed due to COVID and the actor’s political commitments. The shoot finally began last year and was completed smoothly.

Having watched the film multiple times, Naveen said it feels like a complete entertainer with a perfect mix of emotions and commercial elements.
