Malayalam star Tovino Thomas’s much-awaited film Pallichattambi has unveiled its teaser, setting the stage for a grand worldwide theatrical release on April 10.
Mounted on a large scale, Pallichattambi is produced by Noufal, Brijeesh, and Chanukya Chaitanya Charan under the banners of Worldwide Films and C Cube Bros Entertainments. Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, the film stars Kayadu Lohar as the female lead. With its pan-India appeal, the film is gearing up for release in five languages Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada.
The teaser, released today, opens on an intriguing note with visuals of a historic church, immediately setting a mysterious tone. It hints at sinister forces targeting the sacred space, with glimpses of disturbing acts against innocent people. The dialogues spark curiosity about the central conflict, while the hero’s mission to protect both the church and its people stands out as the emotional core. Set in the 1950s–60s, the film also showcases Tovino Thomas in a striking and completely new avatar.
The ensemble cast includes Vijayaraghavan, Sudheer Karamana, Baburaj, Vinod Kedamangalam, and Prashanth Alexander, among others.
On the technical front, the film features costumes by Manjusha Radhakrishnan, makeup by Rasheed Ahmed, production design by Dileep Nath, editing by Sreejith Sarang, cinematography by Tijo Tomy, and music composed by Jakes Bejoy. The story is penned by S. Suresh Babu.
With its gripping premise, period setting, and strong performances, Pallichattambi has already built solid buzz and promises an intense cinematic experience.
