BA Raju began his journey by handling publicity for Evergreen Superstar Krishna From there, his career grew steadily, and he went on to manage publicity for over 1,500 films, contributing significantly to their success His passion for cinema and journalism led him to launch Super Hit Weekly magazine in 1994 along with his wife, B Jaya His commitment was extraordinary he ran the magazine continuously for 27 years without missing a single issue

In 2001, BA Raju entered film production by starting the Superhit Friends and RJ Cinemas banners After moving operations to Hyderabad, he produced memorable films such as Premalo Pavani Kalyan, Chantigadu, Lovely and Vaisakham He was also fondly known as the industry’s “Knowledge Bank,” with an incredible memory of film facts, release dates, and box-office details no computer required

As President of the Film Critics Association, BA Raju always stood by journalists, offering support during difficult times He was known for his generosity, whether it was financial help or emotional encouragement He also shared a close and special bond with Evergreen Superstar Krishna and Superstar Mahesh Babu
