The title and first look poster of “Hello It’s Me” were officially launched in Hyderabad. The film stars Varun Sandesh in the lead and is being directed by actress Shagna Sri Venun, who also plays the female lead.
Shagna, who gained recognition with Government Junior College, has now stepped into direction with this youthful romantic entertainer. Darshan Madamanchi plays another key role. The movie is produced by VSK Sanjeev, Vangapalli Sandeep, and Vangapalli Sankeerth under S2S Cinemas and Shass Productions. The film is currently in the final stage of shooting.
At the launch event, several cast and crew members spoke about the project. Actor Rajasekhar said he was happy to be part of the film in a good role and shared his long association with Shagna. Actor Dr. Bhadram praised Varun Sandesh’s acting and appreciated Shagna’s dedication. Jaswanth Jessie said the film carries a meaningful message for today’s youth.
Actress Nandini Rodda, making her debut, expressed her excitement about acting alongside Varun Sandesh. Cinematographer Brahmateja Maripudi said Shagna handled the film with great confidence, like a “one-woman army,” and added that performances will be a major highlight. Music director Vamsikanth Rekhana revealed that the film has six songs, and said the story reflects how today’s youth should and shouldn’t behave.
Producers VSK Sanjeev and Vangapalli Sandeep said they backed the film purely out of passion and trusted Shagna’s vision. Director Rajesh Jaganatham appreciated Shagna for handling both acting and direction, calling it a rare achievement. He also said audiences will see Varun Sandesh in a clean family romantic-comedy after doing several thrillers.
Speaking at the event, Shagna said the film is relatable for both boys and girls and focuses on misunderstandings faced by youth. Varun Sandesh said he was impressed with Shagna’s narration and believed the film will connect well with audiences, especially with its strong music.
