ZEE5 to Premiere Action-Comedy “The Pet Detective” on November 28
ZEE5 is bringing the entertaining action-comedy The Pet Detective to its platform from November 28. The film will stream in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi.
Directed by Praneesh Vijayan, the movie stars Sharaf U Dheen who also marks his debut as producer along with Vinayakan, Vinay Forrt, Anupama Parameswaran, Shyam Mohan, and Joemon Jyothir.

The story revolves around Tony Jose Alula (Sharaf U Dheen), an underperforming yet ambitious detective who takes up a missing-pet case to prove his worth. What starts small soon turns into a hilarious adventure involving smugglers, kidnappers, a lost child, a Mexican mafia don, exotic fish, and a rival police officer. With quirky characters, chaotic twists, and a classic comedy climax, the film promises full-on family entertainment.
Sharing his excitement, Sharaf U Dheen said, The Pet Detective is very special to me as it marks my first film as a producer. We wanted to create something fun, colourful, and carefree. I’m happy that audiences everywhere can now enjoy it on ZEE5.
