This Diwali, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s NGO, Pratyusha Support, illuminated countless hearts through its annual ‘Light of Joy 2025’ celebration a beautiful evening of compassion, connection, and celebration with over 250 children from various orphanages and NGOs across Hyderabad.

What started over a decade ago as a small act of kindness has blossomed into one of Pratyusha Support’s most heartfelt annual traditions. Now in its 11th year, the event continues to embody the true essence of Diwali togetherness, gratitude, and giving.

The celebration brimmed with laughter, music, and color. Children participated in fun games, creative workshops, and a unique “Gratitude Wall” activity writing down what they were thankful for. As twilight descended, the venue glowed with hundreds of diyas, each flame representing a wish for love, hope, and brighter tomorrows.

Founder Samantha Ruth Prabhu and co-founder Padma Shri Dr. Manjula Anagani joined the children, sharing smiles, stories, and heartfelt moments throughout the evening. Volunteers and event partners played a vital role in bringing the event to life, ensuring every child went home not only with gifts but with cherished memories of belonging and joy.

Reflecting on the celebration, Seshanka Binesh, Executive Director of Pratyusha Support, shared,
