The blockbuster team behind Committee Kurrollu is gearing up for a reunion! Director Yadu Vamsi, who made a striking debut with his youthful and grounded storytelling, is reportedly collaborating once again with producer-actor Niharika Konidela for a brand-new project under her home banner, Pink Elephant Pictures.

If all goes as planned, the project will begin rolling in 2026, marking another exciting chapter for the Committee Kurrollu team.

Released as a modestly budgeted film, Committee Kurrollu turned into one of the most surprising success stories of the year. Made on a budget of ₹9 crore, it collected over ₹18.5 crore theatrically and an additional ₹6 crore from non-theatrical avenues, taking its total earnings to nearly ₹24.5 crore. The film stood out for its freshness  introducing 11 new male leads and 4 heroines to Telugu cinema, a rare feat that paid off in a big way.

Beyond box-office numbers, the film also earned significant recognition in the awards circuit. At SIIMA 2025, Niharika Konidela was honored with Best Debut Producer, while Sandeep Saroj took home Best Debut Actor. The film’s social relevance also caught the attention of the Telangana Government, which honored Committee Kurrollu at the Gaddar Awards — winning Best Feature Film on National Integration, Communal Harmony, and Social Uplift of Depressed Classes, along with Best Debut Director for Yadu Vamsi.

Meanwhile, Pink Elephant Pictures is already busy with its second production, currently under shoot. Directed by Manasa Sharma, this fantasy-comedy stars Sangeet Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are penned by Manasa Sharma and Mahesh Uppala, with Manyam Ramesh serving as Executive Producer and Anudeep Dev handling the music.

Even as the new film creates a strong buzz in industry circles, the Committee Kurrollu team’s next collaboration has already become one of the most awaited projects in Telugu cinema.
