Sai Durgha Tej at the ‘Abhayam Masoom Summit’ 2025 Event

Supreme Hero Sai Durgha Tej delivered a powerful message at the Abhayam Masoom Summit 2025 in Hyderabad, urging that children must have the freedom to speak openly with their parents and emphasizing shared responsibility in protecting children both online and offline. The summit, organized by Young Indians (Yi), Bharat Rising, and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), brought together youth from 70 cities worldwide to address the urgent issue of child sexual abuse.
Sai Durgha Tej stressed that society has a duty to safeguard children in every space, especially as digital platforms introduce new risks. He voiced concern over the abuse, inappropriate comments, and laughter children face on social media, lamenting that such harmful behavior often goes unaddressed by both the public and the media. He condemned the misuse of humor to justify insensitive remarks, reminding everyone that freedom of speech must never come at the expense of another’s dignity.

Recalling his work with Think Peace in 2015, Sai Durgha Tej shared his commitment to education equality, referencing his efforts to build a school in Araku and support children’s education in Telangana. He reflected on his upbringing, highlighting the importance of close parental bonds. From an early age, he felt comfortable sharing every aspect of his life with his mother a level of openness he believes every parent should foster.
He urged families to spend meaningful time together, recommending at least one offline gathering each week. Sai Durgha Tej advocated for explaining sensitive topics like “good touch and bad touch” at home and school, and suggested practical accountability measures: linking children’s social media accounts to parents' phone numbers or Aadhaar cards. This, he explained, would help parents remain engaged and aware of their children’s online presence and potential threats.

Sai Durgha Tej also noted his decision to avoid songs that glorify teasing or disrespect, especially after his movie ‘Winner,’ and encouraged children to seek genuine connections in the real world, not just online. He reminded adults that, while celebrities may be used to online criticism, children are vulnerable and need protection from negativity.

He concluded by reiterating the importance of accountability, education, and parental involvement both online and offline, urging society to move away from harmful stereotypes and prioritize children’s well-being. Addressing rumors about his personal life, Sai Durgha Tej stated that news about his marriage would come directly from him whenever he is ready.

This reimagined address from Sri Sai Durgha Tej at the Abhayam Masoom Summit captures his heartfelt advocacy for child safety, responsible parenting, and positive digital citizenship.
