Chai Wala Teaser Promises an Emotional Ride with Universal Appeal

Young actor Shiva Kandukuri is all set to win hearts with Chai Wala, produced on a lavish scale by Radha Vijayalakshmi and Venkat R. Paapudippu under the Harshika Productions banner. Written and directed by Pramod Harsha, the film has already generated strong buzz. After the first-look poster garnered appreciation, the much-awaited teaser was launched on August 20th.

The teaser begins on a hard-hitting note with Rajeev Kanakala’s impactful line: “My tea costs ₹15… if I take even one rupee more, my value goes down.” The next glimpse of Shiva Kandukuri’s witty dialogue sets the tone, followed by touching frames of father-son bonding, tender romance, and heartfelt family drama  elements that hint at Chai Wala being a wholesome entertainer with deep emotions.

Speaking at the launch, producer Raj Kandukuri said:
“The title Chai Wala was suggested by Venkat garu, and it connects instantly with everyone. Cinema that stays in the audience’s hearts beyond the theatre is what turns memorable, and this film has that quality. Rajeev Kanakala garu is brilliant; Pramod Harsha was determined right from the beginning that only he should play the father’s role. Imran’s writing sparkles, Teju Ashwini has a bright future ahead, and Kranti’s cinematography is visually rich. Shiva is going to inspire a lot of applause with his performance. I truly believe Chai Wala will emotionally touch every viewer.”

Hero Shiva Kandukuri added:
“This film is very close to my heart. What started as work turned into a beautiful journey, and Pramod became a dear friend. The story is so powerful that I can assure every audience member  you’ll want to call your father after watching it. Working alongside Rajeev Kanakala garu was an incredible learning experience. Teju is extraordinarily talented, and every member of the team gave their heart and soul. I’m proud of what we’ve created, and I’m sure audiences will feel that emotion onscreen.”

Director Pramod Harsha shared his vision:
“When I penned Chai Wala, I imagined a lead who could bring sensitivity and charm in equal measure that’s why I approached Shiva. The story reflects incidents all of us encounter in everyday life, and that relatability will make viewers connect instantly.”

Producer Venkat R. Paapudippu expressed his emotions:
“They say only after building a house or conducting a marriage do you realize the effort involved. But producing a film is even harder. Some moments during the shoot brought tears to my eyes. Chai Wala is a tender love story woven with emotions that will reach out to everyone.”

Actress Teju Ashwini, making her Telugu debut, shared:
“I couldn’t have asked for a better launch in Tollywood. Playing my role in Chai Wala has been special, and working with Rajeev Kanakala garu was an enriching experience. Shiva is extremely supportive, and Kranti garu’s visuals give the film a magical quality. I believe this movie will strike a chord with everyone.”

Rajeev Kanakala remarked:
“Venkat garu ensured this film was made without compromises. Pramod is a director who knows exactly what he wants, and his narration moved me immediately. The film balances entertainment with rich emotion. Shiva is a passionate actor who immerses himself completely in every scene  his journey is only beginning, and it’s going to be huge.”

Raj Kumar Kasireddy also noted:
“I’ve known Pramod for years and admired his way of telling stories. Chai Wala is heartfelt, funny, and emotional. Acting with Shiva was a great experience, and Rajeev garu’s performance will melt hearts. This is a film that’s made for everyone, and I’m sure audiences will embrace it.”
