Kudos to Aadhi and His Story – “Every Person is a Walking Story”-Deva Katta
Aadhi Pinisetty could have cruised into stardom.
With Ravi Raja Pinisettyone of Telugu cinema’s most celebrated directors, a man with over 40 blockbusters and collaborations with legends like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Mohan Babu, and Venkateshas his father, the path was paved.
But Aadhi wasn’t interested in an inheritance of fame. He wanted to earn every inch of it.
He began humbly with Oka V Chitram (2006) in Telugu. His breakthrough came in Tamil with Eeram (2009). From there, he built a career on versatilitySarrainodu, Ninnu Kori, Rangasthalam, Mirugam, Maragadha Naanayameffortlessly shifting between hero, villain, and supporting roles. I first noticed him in Ninnu Korihis diction, the dignity in his performanceit was magnetic.
When Mayasabha moved to an OTT format, Aadhi was the first name that came to mind for one of the leads. After an eight-hour Zoom narration, I gave him the choice between two main roles. Once we cast Chaitanya Rao, Aadhi stepped into KKNperfectly suited for his depth and range.
KKN wasn’t just a characterit was a complex maze:
A stammer, boundless dreams shackled by financial limits, a mind that solved problems with intelligence over emotiona leader in the making. Aadhi ran the role like a marathon, immersing himself in the political pulse of the era, perfecting his body language, and learning where to let silence speak.
He joined script readings like an eager schoolboy, shared genuine camaraderie with Chaitanya Rao, and handled the stammer with such charm that audiences would see KKN not as a flaw, but as a beloved traitreminiscent of a real-life legend adored by millions. That smile, that unguarded innocence in his eyesit became the soul of the show.
And then came the magic of nuance:
In Episode 3, before shaking MSR’s hand on the bus, he glanced at his own bloodied handa silent, powerful beat that became a trailer highlight.
During the nomination scene with CBR, he improvisedthrowing the mockery back in CBR’s own styleturning the moment into an instant heroic high.
With Mayasabha’s critical acclaim and nationwide buzz, Aadhi is now the face of Telugu land’s most ambitious political drama. His journey stands as proof: the long roadfilled with patience, persistence, and the courage to say no to mediocritywas worth every single step.
