Dr. Mohan Babu Watches Kannappa in Vijayawada Alongside Ghazal Srinivas and Spiritual Leaders
Dynamic Star Vishnu Manchu’s dream project Kannappa continues its successful run in theatres, emerging as a major devotional blockbuster. The film has received wide appreciation for its emotional depth and grand scale, with Vishnu’s powerful performance winning hearts across the board.
To celebrate the film’s success and connect with audiences, Kannappa’s team is actively promoting the film. On the occasion of the film completing 10 days in theatres, veteran actor and Padma Shri awardee Dr. Mohan Babu watched the film today at Capital Cinemas, Benz Circle, Vijayawada. He was joined by renowned folk singer and Save Temples Bharat President Ghazal Srinivas, along with several Aghoras, Naga Sadhus, and spiritual leaders from across India creating a deeply spiritual and memorable atmosphere.
After the screening, Ghazal Srinivas shared his admiration for the film, saying,
Mohan Babu garu has brought Kannappa’s story to life in a powerful way. The film is gripping from start to finish the first half introduces Kannappa to the world, and the second half beautifully shows his journey of devotion to Lord Shiva. It’s made to international standards and stands tall among devotional classics like Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu.
The film features top stars like Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Sarath Kumar, and of course, Mohan Babu garu. Vishnu Manchu’s portrayal of Kannappa is truly exceptional. I’ve already seen the film twice once in Chennai with Rajinikanth, Prabhu Deva, and Bhagyaraj. We were all moved to tears.”
The Vijayawada screening also saw the presence of several prominent spiritual leaders, including Shri Shri Rajeshwar Nath Ji (Aghori tradition), Shiva Swamiji (Veera Shaiva tradition), Yogini Lalitha Ji, Bhakti Chaitanya Swamiji, a Maha Swamiji from the Himalayas, Dayanand Maharaj, and many other sadhus, aghoris, naga sadhus, matajis, and RSS members.
Mohan Babu, who warmly welcomed the guests, thanked audiences and devotees for their overwhelming support, calling Kannappa not just a film, but a spiritual journey. He also shared that even international media has responded positively, and superstar Rajinikanth personally sent a message praising the film.
