‘Thammudu’ Trailer Launch: A Heartfelt Celebration of Emotion and Cinema
The trailer of Thammudu, starring Nithiin and directed by Sriram Venu, was launched with great enthusiasm in Hyderabad. Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on July 4.
Speaking at the event, producer Dil Raju expressed his confidence in the film:
“Thammudu is built on a fresh idea that will connect emotionally with the audience. It’s a film made for the big screen experience. Sriram Venu has spent four years shaping this story with great care and detail. We didn’t want to compromise on quality, whether it was sound, visuals, or storytelling. Nithiin and the team have gone above and beyond to support the film. We’re proud of what we’ve created.”
Dil Raju also revealed that Laya was Sriram’s first choice for a key role, and her return to cinema makes this project even more special. He added that Sapthami Gowda was cast after her impactful performance in Kantara, and that every role in Thammudu has been thoughtfully written.
Director Sriram Venu, known for films like MCA and Vakeel Saab, said:
“The trailer says everything I wanted to communicate. This film is close to my heart. It reflects the emotions I’ve lived through – as a son, brother, father, and husband. I’m grateful to Nithiin for believing in this story when others hesitated. This is not just another film. It’s personal, yet commercial in its appeal.”
Lead actor Nithiin shared,
“From the first day to the last, we’ve given everything to Thammudu. The trailer has received a fantastic response. Laya garu, making a comeback after 20 years, was a delight to work with. Sapthami and Swasika have played strong roles, and you’ll see that when the film hits screens.”
Laya, returning to Telugu cinema after two decades, got emotional as she spoke:
“Coming back to the industry was a tough decision, but Thammudu made it easy. The warmth and support I received from the team reminded me why I love cinema. This film gave me purpose again.”
Sapthami Gowda, making her Telugu debut, shared her excitement:
“My character Ratna has depth, and there’s more to her than what you see in the trailer. It was a joy working with such a sincere team, and I’m thankful to be part of this story.”
Cinematographer K.V. Guhan, who previously collaborated with Sriram Venu, said the film will surprise audiences both visually and emotionally. Editor Prawin Pudi praised the performances and the director’s vision. Music director Ajaneesh Loknath, known for his gripping scores, is expected to add powerful emotional layers to the film.
Child artist Baby Deetya added a charming touch at the event, sharing her on-set experience and how the team, especially Nithiin, made her feel at home.
Actress Swasika expressed gratitude for getting a meaningful role early in her career and called Thammudu a visual and emotional journey for the audience.
As Thammudu prepares for release on July 4, the team’s sincerity and belief in the film’s emotional depth and theatrical appeal are clear. With strong performances, a soulful score, and a story rooted in sibling bonds, Thammudu promises to be a heartwarming cinematic experience.
