Kishore Boyidapu Honored with International Iconic Award

Young and talented cinematographer Kishore Boyidapu has bagged the prestigious International Iconic Award for his exceptional work in the film 105 Minutes, featuring Hansika Motwani. The film, which was shot in a single take with just one character, earned widespread appreciation for its technical brilliance. Kishore received the award at a grand event held on June 27, 2025, at Le Meridien Hotel in Hyderabad. During his speech, he thanked director Raju Dussa and producer Bommak Shiva for believing in his vision.
Kishore began his journey in the film industry as a camera assistant in Ravi Prasad’s team. Over the years, he proved his mettle by contributing as a second-unit cinematographer to international hits like Slumdog Millionaire, Mission Impossible 4, Letters, and Suitable Boys. A proud student of acclaimed cinematographer Anil Mehta, Kishore has also worked on Bollywood films including Secret Superstar, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Beyond the Clouds, and Jersey. He even shot commercials featuring some of Bollywood’s top stars.

He made his debut as a full-fledged cinematographer with Boy Meets Girl and went on to work on films such as Kirrak, Vasham, Kartha-Karma-Kriya, 105 Minutes, and My Name is Shruthi. His upcoming projects include On the Way starring Sunil, Rudhiraksha with Aadi Saikumar, and an untitled movie featuring Bigg Boss celebrities Shanmukh, Shivaji, and Bhumika.

Kishore firmly believes that job satisfaction is far more important than just earning money. He stays updated with the latest trends by studying the works and interviews of renowned cinematographers from around the world. Having shifted his base from Mumbai to Hyderabad, Kishore is now fully committed to focusing on Telugu cinema.
