It's a Moment of Pride and Encouragement to Receive the Gaddar Award for 'Rudhramadevi'" – Director-Producer Gunasekhar
The Telangana government recently announced the prestigious Gaddar Awards, recognizing excellence in cinema. Among the films released in 2015, Rudhramadevi, Kanche, and Srimanthudu have been honored with the Best Film awards.
Director and producer Gunasekhar expressed his happiness and gratitude upon receiving the award for Rudhramadevi, which starred Anushka Shetty and Allu Arjun in lead roles under the Gunaa Teamworks banner.
In a heartfelt statement, Gunasekhar said:
"It is truly a joyful and encouraging moment for Rudhramadevi, produced under the Gunaa Teamworks banner by Ragini Guna, Neelima Guna, and Yukta Guna, to be announced as the Best Film for the year 2015 by the Telangana Government’s Gaddar Cinema Awards. I extend my sincere thanks to Telangana Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy garu, Jury Chairman Shri Murali Mohan garu, and all the jury members for this honor.
Anushka garu delivered an extraordinary performance as Rudhramadevi, and she was instrumental in making this success possible. Allu Arjun, who brought the character of Gona Ganna Reddy to life, was the backbone of our film both on-screen and behind the scenes. My special thanks to Anushka and Allu Arjun.
I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to every single person who worked on this film. Congratulations to all the fellow recipients of the Gaddar Awards."
