Lamp is a crime suspense thriller that revolves around a series of murders. The protagonist navigates the investigation in a humorous way, keeping the audience engaged. The climax unravels the mystery and showcases how he ultimately stops the murders.

Vinod plays a constable who takes on the murder case and eventually gets promoted to Inspector. His character blends suspense with humor, making it a standout role in the film.

The movie is produced by Vallé Shekhar Reddy and Janardhan Reddy, known for Yedu Chepala Katha. Directed by Rajasekhar, the film also marks the last appearance of the late choreographer Rakesh Master. The cast includes Madhupriya, Koti Kiran, Avantika, Venky, Nagendra, Chalapathi, Soumya, and Nagaraju.

Beyond acting, Vinod established Vinod Film Academy to support aspiring actors. Many newcomers enter the industry without proper guidance and often face deception. His academy aims to train them effectively, saving time, money, and reducing risks.

Running the academy comes with challenges. While students receive training and even job opportunities to recover their fees, some expect roles without putting in effort. Vinod emphasizes that only dedication and proper learning can lead to success.

Believing in fresh content, he actively supports young talent by bringing novelty to his performances and connecting new filmmakers and producers with trained actors from the academy.

His upcoming projects include Barbaric, which is ready for release, and Shasanama Chattama, where he plays the son of actor Suman. He is also working as a lead actor in two films directed by Harsha and Thallada Sai Krishna.

While acting remains his primary focus, he is open to exploring production. Through Vinod Film Academy, he has already produced short films and web series and is planning to produce a feature film soon.

Sharing his thoughts on the Telugu film industry, Vinod points out that audiences no longer differentiate between big-budget and small-budget films. If the content is strong, the film succeeds. He believes Lamp has the potential to be a hit due to its gripping storyline.

Among his inspirations, S.S. Rajamouli stands as his favorite director, while Balakrishna, Chiranjeevi, and Jr. NTR are his top actors.

Talking about Lamp's release, he explains that delays occurred due to extensive graphics work, but the team remained committed to a theatrical release. Distributors have shown strong confidence, with 150 theaters already locked in. The film is set to release on March 14.

To make the movie accessible to everyone, the ticket price is set at ₹110. Vinod assures that the entertainment value is worth ₹210, promising a mix of comedy, romance, action, and suspense. He invites audiences to experience this thrilling entertainer and enjoy the ride.
