L2E: Empuraan Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran's Political Action Thriller Set for a Grand Release on March 27, 2025!
The much-awaited sequel to Lucifer, L2E: Empuraan, starring Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is set for a massive worldwide release on March 27, 2025. Written by Murali Gopy, this political action-thriller is the second film in the Lucifer trilogy. The movie is being produced on a grand scale by Lyca Productions, Aashirvad Cinemas, and Sree Gokulam Movies, with Subaskaran, Antony Perumbavoor, and Gokulam Gopalan backing the project.
Mohanlal reprises his role as Khureshi-Ab’raam (Stephen Nedumpally) alongside a stellar ensemble cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Fazil, Sachin Khedekar, Nyla Usha, and many others. British actor Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones) makes his Indian film debut in a key role.
The film's shooting began on October 5, 2023, in Faridabad and continued across Shimla, Leh, the UK, the US, Chennai, Gujarat, Hyderabad, the UAE, Mumbai, and Kerala. It was filmed in a 1:2.8 aspect ratio to deliver a visually immersive experience.
The promotional campaign started with a grand teaser launch on January 26 in Kochi, followed by character posters and exclusive videos from February 9 to February 26.
L2E: Empuraan will release in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi, promising a thrilling cinematic experience. Get ready for an intense political action spectacle this March!
