Nandamuri Balakrishna, one of the most celebrated figures in Indian cinema and politics, has been conferred with the prestigious Padma Bhushan award by the Government of India. This recognition, one of the highest civilian honors in the country, celebrates his exceptional contributions to the fields of cinema and public service.  

On this momentous occasion, Balakrishna expressed his deep gratitude and shared a heartfelt acknowledgment, paying homage to everyone who has supported him throughout his illustrious career.  

In his statement, Balakrishna extended his thanks to the Government of India for bestowing this honor upon him. He also expressed his heartfelt appreciation to his wellwishers, fans, and colleagues for their constant love and blessings.  

He conveyed his gratitude to his fellow actors, technicians, producers, distributors, exhibitors, and the entire film fraternity, acknowledging their pivotal role in shaping his long and eventful journey in the entertainment industry.  

The legacy of his father, the legendary actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao garu, was also highlighted in his statement. Balakrishna credited his success to his father's inspiration and guidance, stating that he is forever indebted to the fans who have supported him as a proud successor of NTR's legacy.  

He concluded his note by congratulating the other Padma awardees and reaffirming his bond with his fans and audiences, saying, "Then… Now… Forever… Always yours."
