In a recent press conference, actress Meenakshi Chaudhary shared her thoughts about the project.
How does it feel to be part of 'Sankranthiki Vasthunnam'?
I feel extremely happy and grateful to be part of this film. It’s my first venture into the comedy genre, and portraying a cop has been thrilling. I believe the audience will enjoy seeing me in this role, especially since I've also performed action sequences for the first time.
What does Sankranthi mean to you this year?
Last year, my film 'Guntur Karam' was released during Sankranthi, and it’s a joy to have my film releasing this year as well. This journey feels like a dream come true. I’m thankful to the director and producers for believing in me and offering me such an amazing opportunity. I’m excited to portray great stories and roles.
Did you draw any references for your cop role?
Becoming a cop has always been my dream. It’s fantastic to have this chance so early in my career. I didn’t rely on any specific references, but having a father who is an Army officer gave me some insight into the officer’s body language. I also did my homework to prepare.
How was your experience working with Venkatesh?
Working with Venkatesh has been incredible. He is a wonderful person and brings so much joy to the set. His comic timing is exceptional, and the chemistry between him and Anil makes for a fantastic vibe. Every scene flowed seamlessly, and I enjoyed every moment. Venkatesh is also very fit and energetic, making the experience even better.
What was it like sharing the screen with Aishwarya Rajesh?
Aishwarya Rajesh is an established actor whose work I admire, so working with her was like a fan moment for me. She brings a positive energy to the set, and I learned a lot from her during our time together.
The songs have been a big hit. What are your thoughts on Bheems' music?
This is the first time all the songs in a film I’m part of have become super hits! The song 'Godari Gattu' has taken off, and 'Meenu' has also received fantastic feedback, along with the blockbuster 'Pongal.' Bheems has done an outstanding job with the music, and I hope the film performs as well as the soundtrack.
How does it feel to promote the film in a unique way?
I’ve had ample time to engage in promotions for this film. We’re using fresh and innovative ideas, and it’s been a blast doing skits with Venkatesh Mama’s characters.
What was your experience working under Anil Ravipudi's direction?
Anil has fantastic comedic timing. Creating comedy is not easy; it requires spontaneous thinking to enhance scenes. His insights on improving scenes are remarkable, and since it’s my first foray into comedy, he patiently guided me through every detail. Working with him was an enriching experience.
What genre is 'Sankranthiki Vasthunnam'?
It’s a family-oriented film with a significant emphasis on comedy. It’s a clean family entertainer filled with various emotions.
What was it like working under Dil Raju's production?
Being part of Dil Raju’s production has been a delightful experience. It was great to see him actively involved in promotions. Sirish was also very supportive, and I look forward to more collaborations with them. I hope both 'Game Changer' and 'Sankranthiki Vasthunnam' achieve tremendous success!
What was it like meeting Balayya Garu on 'Unstoppable'?
Balayya Garu is truly one of a kind! He is always lively and energetic, and he’s an emotionally intelligent and wonderful person.
