BRS MLA Harish Rao and Director Srinu Vaitla Launch Kalpara VFX and AI Services in Hyderabad

Visual effects (VFX) and artificial intelligence (AI) have become pivotal in the film industry, enabling filmmakers to create breathtaking visuals and offer audiences unforgettable experiences. Recognizing this technological shift, Dr. Mallishwar inaugurated Kalpara VFX and AI Services at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad, during a grand ceremony held on Friday evening.

The event witnessed the presence of notable dignitaries, including BRS MLA and former minister Harish Rao, directors Srinu Vaitla, Karuna Kumar, and Vandana (from the renowned production house People Media Factory), along with actors Vikranth Reddy and Raghu Kunche, who attended as chief guests.

Speaking at the event, Harish Rao commended Dr. Mallishwar's entrepreneurial spirit, saying,

"Our very own Telugite, Mallishwar, has made a name for himself as an entrepreneur in the United States. When I invited him to create opportunities for rural youth, he not only set up an IT company in Siddipet but is now contributing to the Telugu film industry. VFX and AI technology are the future of cinema, bridging the gap with Hollywood and helping reduce budgets while enhancing visual quality. With the world rapidly adopting AI, this venture marks a significant step forward. I wish Dr. Mallishwar immense success in this journey."

Director Srinu Vaitla praised the initiative, stating,

"I am thrilled to see Dr. Mallishwar establish this VFX and AI company. This is a much-needed contribution to Telugu cinema, providing employment opportunities and advancing our technological capabilities. Films like RRR winning an Oscar show the global potential of our industry, and I’m confident Kalpara VFX will elevate us further."

Vandana, director of People Media Factory, extended her best wishes to the Kalpara VFX team.

Director Karuna Kumar emphasized the significance of the initiative, noting,

"VFX is now an integral part of Telugu cinema. With skilled professionals often in short supply, Mallishwar garu’s effort to provide top-notch, timely services is commendable. If they maintain quality, they will have no competition."

Raghu Kunche added,

"I wish Dr. Mallishwar great success in serving the Telugu film industry through Kalpara VFX."

Actor Vikranth Reddy highlighted the growing demand for VFX, stating,

"Over the past decade, VFX has become indispensable in filmmaking. Today, no film is complete without it. Kalpara VFX aims to cater to industries across India, including Tollywood, Kollywood, Sandalwood, and Bollywood."

Expressing gratitude, Kalpara VFX and AI Services CEO Dr. Mallishwar said,

"Thank you to everyone who graced this event. My IT companies in the US have developed AI-based products, and I’ve always dreamed of contributing to the film industry. With Kalpara VFX, we aim to introduce Hollywood-level technology to South Indian cinema and make these advancements accessible to low-budget films. Directors like SS Rajamouli garu and Nag Ashwin garu are proof of how transformative VFX can be. I am committed to supporting Tollywood and the broader South Indian film industry with cutting-edge technology and services.

Kalpara VFX and AI Services promises to be a game-changer for the film industry, merging innovation and creativity to deliver unparalleled cinematic experiences.
