Poster and Teaser Launch of ‘Deccan Sarkar’

The much-anticipated movie Deccan Sarkar, directed by Kala Srinivas under the Kala Arts banner, held its poster and teaser launch event at the Telugu Film Chamber. The event was graced by Telangana activist Gade Innareddy and Telangana Film Chamber President Pratani Ramakrishna Goud, who extended their congratulations to the film’s team.  

Speaking at the event, Gade Innareddy remarked, “This film captures the essence of the Telangana movement and the sacrifices made during the struggle. Kala Srinivas has invested significant effort and resources to bring this story to life. Such films deserve widespread support. My heartfelt congratulations to the entire team.”  

Pratani Ramakrishna Goud echoed these sentiments, stating, “Films like Deccan Sarkar deserve our encouragement. The cast has delivered commendable performances. A single movie has the power to support numerous livelihoods, and I wish this project immense success. The Telangana Film Chamber extends its full support to the film’s release.”  

Director Kala Srinivas shared his vision, saying, “Telangana’s rich culture and scenic beauty offer immense potential for storytelling. Deccan Sarkar brings the spirit of the Telangana movement to the screen. Many of the cast members embody the values of the characters they portray. This film stands as a testament to the struggles that never end. Losing talents like Sai Chandu and Jai Srinu has been a profound loss to the movement and the arts. Their memories inspire this work. We are planning a grand pre-release event in Nizamabad and hope for everyone’s support. My gratitude to the guests, activists, and media for attending this launch.”  

Actor Gharshana Srinivas praised the director’s efforts, stating, “Kala Srinivas has poured his heart into this project. We must unite to turn this small film into a big success.”  

Actress Hema added, “Despite financial hurdles, Kala Srinivas has brought a powerful story to the screen. It’s our duty to support such dedication.”  

The attendees commended Kala Srinivas for encapsulating 12 years of the Telangana movement into a two-hour cinematic experience. His efforts in writing, directing, and performing the lead role were widely praised, with many calling Deccan Sarkar the soul of Telangana on screen.
