A sequel was announced almost six months ago and shooting was wrapped up recently. 'Avunu Part 2' is currently undergoing post production formalities and the first teaser was released today (November 07-2014) The film is presented by D.Ramanaidu and produced by Suresh Productions and Flying Frogs banners.
Poorna and Harshavardhan Rane will be reprising their characters once again and Sekhar Chandra has composed the music.
