To encourage tourism in Madhya Pradesh, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) announced a concession at a maximum of 1.5 crores to 2 crores for films that do a minimum of 50% shooting in the state. Also, 75% of the amount paid for the government locations will be returned. In addition, the tourism board is taking all the necessary care to facilitate shootings smoothly without any issues.


To disclose this news, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board's Deputy Director Umakanth Chowdary visited Hyderabad along with his staff. He said this opportunity could be utilized without involving the intermediaries and dealers. He also firmly stated that everything regarding this would be dealt with fairly and transparently. 


Elaborating further on this, Umakanth stated that from granting permits to arranging concessions within a specified period, everything would be done in a proper way. He added that the main motto of this initiative is to make the whole world aware of the beautiful locations in Madhya Pradesh. Umakanth said everything regarding this initiative can be known in detail through a website and added that this facility would apply to all the southern language movies.


Thappinchukoleru producer Rudrapatla Venugopal (R.V.G), who availed of this rare benefit for the first time shared his experience regarding this matter. Rudrapatla Venugopal further introduced producers Aachanta Gopinath, Bekkem Venugopal, D.S. Rao, Thummalapalli Ramasatyanarayana, Nenevaru's producers Bhimineni Shivaprasad and Thanneru Rambabu whose film is ready to release this month, young directors, Chandha Govind Reddy, Gautham Rachiraju, writer Raviprakash, and others to the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board's Deputy Director Umakanth Chowdary.


Rudrapatla Venugopal stated that filmmakers who wanted to make use of this opportunity could contact him directly for his suggestions and added that his second film would start its shoot very soon in the beautiful locations of Madhya Pradesh!!
