DJ Tillu, starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Neha Shetty in the lead roles, is a mad-cap thriller directed by debutant Vimal Krishna and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. The lead actor Siddhu (who has also written the dialogues) and director Vimal Krishna have jointly scripted it and penned the screenplay. The film, whose riveting teaser piqued the curiosity of audiences recently, is all set to storm the theatres for the Sankranti season on January 14.
The makers, announcing the news, had released a poster of DJ Tillu featuring the lead characters in an intimate pose, seated near a window. The film promises to take audiences on a rollercoaster ride of love, fun and madness. The story revolves around the various twists and turns in the life of a local Hyderabadi DJ. Siddhu Jonnalagadda will be seen in a full-on mass avatar with an uncanny sense of humour in the film.
The Sankranti release promises to be a unique combination of thrills and laughs through and through. Sri Charan Pakala's racy background score is touted to be one of the film's major highlights. DJ Tillu is high on style and the cinematographer Sai Prakash Ummadisingu has left no stone unturned to mount the gripping tale on a grand canvas. Prince Cecil, Brahmaji, Pragathi and Narra Srinivas essay supporting roles in the film.
