It's a well known fact that India’s first ever movie based on bikers' life and journey ‘Idhe Maa Katha” has released yesterday and has received a very good response from the audience from bath states. The film stars Sumanth Ashwin, Srikanth, Bhumika Chawla and Tanya Hope in lead roles and is directed by debutant director Guru Pawan, a former associate of Puri Jagannadh, Harish Shankar, Ram Gopal Varma, Nagesh Kukunoor.

The film was successful to create an impact and curiosity from starting from its first look, concept teaser and it’s recently released trailer attracted the attention of all touching a new concept and was widely spread on social media like Twitter, Instagram, Youtube ect., Let us see what Idhe Maa Katha offered to movie lovers and to bike lovers.

‘Idhe Maa Katha’ story is completely based on the backdrop of a road trip and started the narration on an interesting note establishing the characters. The film is all about how 4 completely different stanger healing from different parts of India start their journey to Leh Ladakh for the reasons of their own, how they happen to meet each other and how they helped each other emotionally,  to overcome the hurdles and hustles they face in reaching their goals. The screenplay of the film is new as so is the concept. It tries to showcase the reality of the riders life, the situations they face etc., in a very appealing and emotional way to which the audience connects immediately.

The character sketching of all characters are unique and very much appealing. Bhumika Chawala character is something that every household woman can connect and relate to. Tanya, Srikanth and Sumanth Ashwin’s looks are super stylish and this clearly shows that Guru Pawan has learnt the master craft of makeover from his boss and has implemented the same with “Idhe Maa Katha”.

Sumanth Asshwin plays the role of adventure biker who is also a mature biker, an passionate biker who is ready to go to any extent to reach his goal. Something which he hasn’t done before and he has done a pretty  good justice for this role with ease. Tanya Hope on the other hand plays the role of an angry young rider and she surely has done a fabulous job in portraying that role with her stunning stylish looks and performance. Especially in the songs she is a delight to watch.

Srikanth plays the role of a business typhon who also has his very own reason to ride to Leh Ladakh and his story is pretty interesting and in due course of time it brings much needed curiosity to the film’s plot with a banggng twist in the end. He has played his role with much ease and his performance is one of the highlights of the film. One can say that Srikanth has the best look of his career.

All 4 characters have equal importance in the film and all the four complimented well and elevated the scenes with their performances. Saptagiri, Trivikram Sai, 30 Years Prudhvi, Jabardatsh Ram Prasad generated immense fun for the audience. Srikanth Iyengar, Sandhya Janak, Srijitha Ghosh and Madhumani performed and had their bits to play which they did justice to. Subbaraju made a small appearance as well.

Most of the films shot in Nagpur, Kullu-Manali, Leh- Ladakh and the visuals are awestruck. One of the biggest highlights of the film. Another big attraction and strength of the film is Sunil Kashyap’s soul touching music and so is the background music. Junaid Siddique's editing is good but he should have taken care of the drags in the second half. Production values are top notch and so is the production design as they did not compromise on anything which is clearly evident on screen. The costumes give a fresh look to the films.

The rest of the story is all about how they team up, how they look each other back in this journey and how they succeed in their goals, which is presented in a new and unique way, which makes ‘Idhe Maa Katha’ unique from all routine films.Director Guru Pawan succeeded big time in bringing front an unique and different film with new backdrop  which is filled with beautiful character skating, appealing dialogues, emotional quotient and very good screenplay. One should surely appreciate him for that. He is here in TFI to stay for sure.
