Madras, a sociopolitical thriller which released back in 2014 marks the collaboration of ace hero Karthi, acclaimed director Pa Ranjith, and renowned producer K E Gnanavel Raja. The film received critical acclaim and as well as excellent box office returns. 

Now, the Telugu dubbed version of the blockbuster film is set to release in theaters this September. 

The makers of Madras have dropped a new poster of the film, which confirms that the Karthi starrer will be arriving in theaters this September. 

Madras is being released in Telugu with the same title and the release date will be announced very soon. 

The film stars Karthi, Kalaiyarasan Harikrishnan, Catherine Tresa, Riythvika, and others in important roles. Santhosh Narayanan composed the soundtrack for the intense political drama which has a socially relevant plot.
