A Tribute to Handloom Weavers, saw the city's A -listers including socialites, Television & movie personalities and a mix of industry elites as part of the star studded event.
Top models from across the country showcased a stunning array of rich ethnic weaves with an emphasis on banarasi and silk reflecting the hand woven splendor that is part of Mamatha Tulluri's signature style! The collection comprised of sarees, full circle lehengas, slim kurtis and intricately embroidered cholis and blouses in rich colours and detailed textures.
Some of the night's highlights included the legendary Suraiya Hassan, Uzramma and Chintakindi Malleshwam being honored for their exemplary work in the revival of handloom. The ramp show was interlaced with entertainment from some of the top artists from around the country. The show ended beautifully with top actor and social activist Isha Koppikar as the showstopper in a stunning gold Mamatha Tulluri creation!
