Actress Deepu Naidu Inaugurated Pochampally Ikat art mela
Hyderabad, July 2014: Pochampally Handloom park organized, 10-days Pochampally IKAT Art Mela 2014 at State Gallery of fine arts, Road no 1, Kavuri hills , Madhapur, Hyderabad. Renowned Textile designers & Weavers of Pochampally park, presenting their designer Handloom Products .The Mela will be on till 3rd August 2014.
Tollywood Actress (Kotha Janta movie fame) Deepu Naidu inaugurated the Mela by lighting the lamp.“It’s glad to see various apparel, particularly designer Handloom Fabrics, silk and cotton sarees, to be showcased for the Fashion Connoisseurs” said Deepu Naidu.“Platforms such as this are required to reach out women looking for well-designed hand made cotton, silk wear & exclusive home textile” She said.
“Different style and concept of handloom creations coming together under one roof, weavers exhibiting their creations of different genres of handloom products in vibrant colours and textures in wide variety and styles ”Devender- Chairman, Damoder -CEO and Krishna-Ex Chairman of pochampally Handloom park, added.
“On display a colourful range of fabrics like home textile to apparel fabrics, stoles , scraves, and sarees in silk & Cotton saris, duppatas, table mats, covers, cotton shirts & Kurtis, Hand bags” they said.
