Vishnu Manchu Launches 100 percent Sports Scholarships at MBU and SVIS

Dynamic Star Vishnu Manchu, who is currently serving as the President of the Movie Artistes Association (MAA), has announced a major sports-focused initiative aimed at nurturing young athletic talent in India. From the 2026–27 academic year, Mohan Babu University (MBU) and Sree Vidyaniketan International School (SVIS) will offer 100% sports scholarships to students with exceptional sporting potential.

The scholarship program will initially focus on Cricket, Basketball, and Badminton. Selected students will receive complete support, including academics, expert coaching, training facilities, nutrition, accommodation, and overall athlete development. To ensure high standards, the institutions will work with experienced coaches from India and overseas, providing students with world-class guidance.

Vishnu Manchu shared that this initiative is driven by a personal vision to contribute meaningfully to India’s sporting future. With India aiming to host the 2036 Olympics, he believes MBU should play a role in producing future Olympians. The program is designed as a long-term effort to strengthen grassroots sports and give talented youngsters the right platform to grow and compete at an international level.

Speaking about the need for such a program, Vishnu Manchu highlighted that many gifted athletes miss opportunities due to financial constraints, lack of proper training, or limited access to infrastructure. This scholarship aims to remove those barriers and create a supportive ecosystem where young sports talent can truly flourish.
