Anil Ravipudi Wishes Grand Success to ‘Dhandoraa’ Ahead of December 25 Release
Successful director Anil Ravipudi extended his heartfelt wishes for the grand success of the upcoming film Dhandoraa, which is set for a theatrical release on December 25.
Produced by Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni under the Loukya Entertainments banner, Dhandoraa comes from the producer who earlier delivered acclaimed films like Color Photo and the blockbuster Bedurulanka 2012. The film is directed by Muralikanth and features a strong ensemble cast including Shivaji, Navdeep, Nandu, Ravi Krishna, Manika Chikkala, Mounika Reddy, Bindu Madhavi, Radhya, and Aditi Bhavaraju.
The film’s pre-release event was held on Monday, with Anil Ravipudi attending as the chief guest.
Speaking at the event, Anil Ravipudi praised producer Banerjee’s taste in cinema and expressed confidence in Dhandoraa. He said he loved the film’s title and felt the title song deserved national-level recognition, especially appreciating lyricist Kasarla Shyam.
After watching the teaser and trailer, Anil Ravipudi said the film has the potential to stay in people’s memories for a long time. He appreciated director Muralikanth’s courage in addressing social issues through cinema and congratulated the entire team. He also praised Shivaji, Navdeep, and Bindu Madhavi for choosing strong and meaningful roles. Emphasizing that content is the real strength of cinema, he wished Dhandoraa a big success on December 25.
Actor Shivaji said Anil Ravipudi’s presence would help the film reach a wider audience. He praised producer Banerjee for selecting strong stories and said Dhandoraa would change people’s perception of him. Shivaji shared that he accepted the film even before Court and chose it as part of his meaningful comeback to cinema. He confidently stated that the film would grow through word-of-mouth and create strong discussion after release.
Actor Navdeep said the film’s uniqueness has already reached audiences through early premieres held since December 23. He shared that the response has been highly positive and added that the teaser and trailer surprised even him. He described Dhandoraa as an unpredictable and refreshing film.
Producer Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni said director Muralikanth narrated the story three years ago, and the journey began from there. He thanked the artists and technicians for their support, stating that in Dhandoraa, the story is the hero and the content is the heroine. He promised to speak more at the success meet.
Director Muralikanth thanked Anil Ravipudi for proving that good cinema brings audiences to theatres. He said he already feels successful for making the film he believed in. He appreciated Shivaji for agreeing to the project after hearing only half the story and thanked the entire cast and crew, inviting audiences to watch the film on December 25.
Bindu Madhavi said Dhandoraa is special to the entire team and described it as a commercial film with strong content.
Distributor Shashidhar Reddy (Mythri) stated that the film blends an untouched subject with commercial elements.
Ravi Krishna said the film is close to his heart and praised Mark K. Robin’s music.
DOP Venkat R. Sakamuri shared that completing the film in just 40 days was challenging but rewarding.
Edward Stevenson Perez, Kranti Priyam, and other crew members expressed confidence that Dhandoraa will be a big success.
