Disney drops new poster and trailer for TRON: Ares; Jeff Bridges returns; India release set for October 10, 2025 in multiple languages
Disney has unveiled the latest posters and language trailers of TRON: Ares, the much-awaited third installment in the iconic TRON franchise. The film will hit Indian theatres on October 10, 2025, releasing in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
A direct continuation of Disney’s cult classic TRON (1982) and its visually stunning sequel TRON: Legacy (2010), TRON: Ares introduces audiences to Ares, a highly advanced Program sent from the digital realm into the human world on a perilous mission—paving the way for humanity’s first-ever encounter with AI beings.
Adding to the excitement, the film features a brand-new track by Grammy-winning band Nine Inch Nails, titled “As Alive As You Need Me To Be.”
Directed by Joachim Rønning, the film boasts a stellar cast including Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, Gillian Anderson, and the legendary Jeff Bridges, making his grand return to the franchise.
Produced by Sean Bailey, Jeffrey Silver, Justin Springer, Jared Leto, Emma Ludbrook, and Steven Lisberger, with Russell Allen serving as executive producer, TRON: Ares promises to be one of Disney’s biggest sci-fi spectacles of 2025.
