Japan will give a new experience to the⁴ audience: SR Prabhu
Actor Karthi is all set to enthral the audience with his 25th film, 'Japan'. Directed by Raju Murugan, this pan-India heist thriller is produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under the Dream Warrior Pictures banner. Anu Emmanuel played the heroine in the movie that is released by Annapurna Studios in Telugu on November 10.
Interacting with the media, producer SR Prabhu said, “Japan is a character-driven movie. Movies like these leave a lasting impact. Karthi did a wonderful job playing the character of Japan. As much as Karthi's 'Evvarra Meerantha' dialogue has gone viral, Japan’s content will also go viral.”
Sharing the details about what makes Japan very special for all of them, the producer, known for picking unique content, shared, “Japan's role is serious. But the way he looks at things in life and the way he talks give good entertainment to the audience. It is a heist film that also discusses humanity and elements that reflect society. The whole movie is very fun. The audience will surely enjoy it.”
Answering one of the questions about what inspired him to make the film, Prabhu said, “Writer and director Raju Murugan's ideas are very unique. Karthi wanted to make a film with Raju Murugan. Raju Murugan's way of looking at society and the way he narrates stores is very unique. He makes you think while also making you laugh. Karthi loved the story of 'Japan'. We believe that the character of Japan will remain in the minds of the audience for a long time.”
The film’s trailer and teaser have already received a great response. “Making films that are different from each other and getting the audience's appreciation gives me great joy as a producer. We are very satisfied with our film. Karthi is also interested in doing different films. From the beginning, there was curiosity among the audience about the film. The get-up and voice modulation of Karthi attracted the attention of the audience. Even after watching the trailer and teaser, the audience is curious about what kind of movie Japan is. We maintained that curiosity.”
Terming Anu Emmaneul’s character to be very special and that it will definitely be liked by the audience, the producer further spoke about GV Prakash’s music saying, “GV Prakash's music for this film is very unique. In this, the music has been created according to the character of Japan. It gives a very new experience to the audience in theatres. The songs are also very different.”
Furthermore, the movie has the very popular Ravi Varman extending his technical talent to the film. “Ravi Varman is a great technician in the country. He has done many big films. A great technician like Ravi Varman is needed to create universal content. Japan's visuals are amazing,” he said.
He revealed the response of King Nagarjuna after watching Japan’s trailer and teaser, "Nagarjuna sir told Karthi that how he was able to create such different stories and characters for each film.”
On the work front, they have films with national crush Rashmika Mandanna and national award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh.
