New and novel ways to monetize content and enable producers to make more money discussed at "IP Rights & Copyrights In Cinema”, an innovative and interactive session in Hyderabad

More than 100 Telugu film producers and creators attend the initiative by Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce and Producerbazaar.com

"Content is not just one-time and one-way revenue, but a 360 degree continuous cash-making process especially in this digital era." This concept was explained well to more than 100 Telugu film producers and creators who participated in a programme titled “IP Rights & Copyrights In Cinema” at Prasad Lab in Hyderabad on October 14, 2023 (Saturday).

Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce and Producerbazaar.com conducted the event to convey the timely message that with digital transformation taking the global markets by storm, Telugu film industry, the powerhouse of content and entertainment, cannot be left behind.

Ways to unleash the digital commercial potential of Telugu cinema were discussed in detail at the programme, held in the presence of Advocate Mr. Bharath (Kria Law), India’s Leading IP Strategist.

After successfully conducting similar sessions in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala for Tamil and Malayalam film industries respectively, Producerbazaar.com has now joined hands with Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce to give the much needed push to Telugu industry to achieve its full commercial potential by tapping digital avenues.

Producerbazaar.com is India's first media & entertainment IP rights marketplace and media tech company, certified by Startup India and seed funded under SISFS (Startup India Seed Fund Scheme) of the Government of India.

Talking about the programme, Mr. Sharrath Marar, Film Producer and Entrepreneur, said, "all these days we have been unknowingly talking about linear and non-linear, close the agreement, proceed to release, focus on success, and then move on to next movie. But now we are at Film Business 3.0 as Mr. GK Tirunavukarasu and Mr. Vijay explained the changing dynamics of film business and markets are maturing to break rights separately and see how we can monetise that."

Ms. Supriya Yalagadda - Secretary, Active Film Producers Guild, said, "so far we all have been focussing on producing good content as we are basically filmmakers and we get exhausted to ready 30-page agreements. Now as a producer we have to focus on 360 degree monetisation. Thank you GK and Vijay for opening up the box which we are passionate about but very scared to open it up all these days. Now we have Producerbazzar.com to track our rights when we focus on filmmaking."
