PM Modi appreciates Theme song on "Thiranga Yatra" sung by Dr Ghazal Srinivas
The Union government to make the mega show to mark the 70 years of Independence a success. Part of that Sri Modi ji initiated Thiranga Yatra programme to give a great Tribute to the Freedom Fighters who sacrificed their lives for the Independence.. To give a boost to this Mega Event ..Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu has asked Dr Ghazal Srinivas, who holds Three Guinness Word Records for having sung in 125 Global languages to compose theme song on Thiranga Yatra.
Dr Ghazal Srinivas composed and Sang the theme songs in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages.
PM Modi ji personally heard all the songs and appreciated the singer. songs were played to Members of parliaments from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Various channels will be making special videos on these songs to promote the patriotic motivational Event.
Songs were written by Sirasri (Telugu) Satish Srivastav (Hindi) R Ravi Sankar (Tamil) Srujan (Kannada)
The government also came out with booklets on 150 people and places connected to the freedom movement so that the younger generation reads about their role in nation building
It has roped in singers Asha Bhosle, Kumar Sanu and Dr Ghazal Srinivas to visit border areas to boost the morale of soldiers.
