The
Biggest and Most Watched South Indian Movie Awards have been announced. The 5th
edition of The South Indian
International Movie Awards – SIIMA will
be held in Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore on June 30th and July
1st.
Recognizing
the art of South Indian Film Industry, SIIMA annually gets together Stars and
Technicians of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam Industries with Prestigious
awards, Scintillating Performers, Red Carpet and more. After a successful year
in Dubai, SIIMA 2016 travels to Singapore on June 30th and July 1st
for an Entertaining and Glamorous Extravaganza of its sorts. In Singapore to
announce the 5th edition of SIIMA, the Press Conference saw the
attendance of Shruti Hassan, Rana Daggubati, Anirudh Ravichander and Brinda
Prasad, Chairperson of SIIMA
A
true reflection of South Indian cinema, SIIMA is the largest and the most
popular film awards show in South India that enjoys over 50% television reach
across the South Indian region. Announcing SIIMA 2016 grand celebrations at
Singapore, Brinda Prasad, chairperson of SIIMA stated “We are in our 5th
edition and are excited about hosting SIIMA in Singapore. We are really proud
of our association with De Ideaz and SPH and promise a brilliant spectacle this
year”
Bringing
together a Glittering Night of Entertainment SIIMA 2016 would witness over 100
leading Stars from across South India and will have a grand line up of 12
performances spread over two days by Anirudh Ravichander, Yash, Rakul Preet
Singh, Sudheer Babu, Huma Qureshi, Usha Uthup, Neeraj Madhav, Aishwarya Rajesh,
Devika, Regina and many more.
The
Prestigious SIIMA awards are assessed by the viewers and fans from the world
over, through a unique voting mechanism, thereby truly representing the choice
of the fans. Speaking further on SIIMA, stunning beauty Shruti Hassan quoted “I am so excited SIIMA is back! It has
always been one of those events all of us in the South Film Industry looks
forward to. And with a huge following of South Indian Movies in Singapore,

Having
completed 4 successful editions, SIIMA has firmly established its identity in
the minds of viewers and has now become synonymous with the very best that the
South Indian film industries have to offer. With the Red Carpet being rolled
out, A Spectacular Destination and a Grand Line of Performances, SIIMA is all
set to enthrall audiences once again on June 30th and July 1st,
2016.
